Saudi Arabia denounces the Israeli attack on the UN school

On Sunday, Saudi Arabia protested and decried an Israeli assault on a UN-run school that provided sanctuary to hundreds of Palestinian refugees.

According to the Gaza health ministry, a hit on a school operated by UNRWA, the UN agency for Palestinian refugees, which was providing shelter to displaced persons in Nuseirat, central Gaza, on Saturday resulted in the deaths of sixteen individuals.

The Kingdom’s criticism of Israel’s systematic killing of civilians was reaffirmed by the Foreign Ministry. In addition, it called for the security of relief workers, assistance facilities, and civilians as well as an instant ceasefire.

In view of Israel’s continued breaches of international humanitarian law and resolutions pertaining to international legitimacy, it emphasized the urgency of triggering international accountability mechanisms.
