Kim Jong-un exhorts DPRK to be war-ready

Apr. 11, Pyongyang (Prensa Latina) Kim Jong-un, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea’s (DPRK) chairman of the State Affairs Commission and general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK), stated that his nation should get ready for war due to the complicated global environment.
During a visit to the Kim Jong-il Military and Political Academy, Kim, who is also the Supreme Commander of the Korean People’s Army (KPA), issued a warning over “the uncertain and unstable political-military situation surrounding our State,” according to KCNA on Thursday.

The leader of the DPRK urged the country to be “more prepared than ever for war” while making a speech at its top military training facility. And to win, he emphasized, not just to fight.

He issued a warning: “We will destroy the enemies without hesitation by mobilizing all means at our disposal if they choose to engage in military confrontation with the DPRK.”

According to the news agency, Kim pleaded with the Academy’s administrators to develop fresh military talent who are committed to the Workers’ Party and have the “ideological, mental, militant, moral, and tactical superiority” necessary to destroy the opposition.

Prominent military figures including Chief of General Staff Ri Yong-gil, Defense Minister Kang Sun-nam, and Central Military Commission vice-chairman Pak Jong-chon attended Kim.
